Job summary

LaSalle Network is hiring a Fund Accountant for a growing investment management group in Warrenville, IL. The hybrid role supports daily fund accounting, NAV calculations and investor reporting, with collaboration across third-party admins and trading teams.

You will contribute to automation initiatives, strategic fund launches, and tax reporting, while leveraging Excel, SQL and Power BI to drive accuracy and efficiency. A CPA is preferred but not required, with 0–4 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required or equivalent.
• 0-4 years of accounting, fund accounting or investment operations experience.
• CPA preferred but not required.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience with SQL and/or Power BI is a plus.
• Experience utilizing AI tools to automate processes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily fund accounting activities, including reconciliation of accounts, values and transactions.
• Review fund fees, expenses, investor activity and NAV calculations.
• Partner with third-party administrators and trading managers for accurate reporting.
• Lead investment allocation processes across multiple fund structures.
• Review annual audited financial statements and coordinate with external auditors.
• Support annual tax reporting processes with third-party tax providers.
• Oversee cash movements, margin calls, capital activity and investor servicing functions.
• Assist with foreign exchange and currency hedging activities.
• Compile and deliver reports for investors and internal stakeholders.
• Support regulatory filings and compliance initiatives.
• Identify opportunities for automation, process improvement and risk mitigation.
• Participate in strategic projects including new fund launches and fee structure implementation.

What's needed?

• Compensation: $65,000-$90,000 annually + eligibility to earn a bonus
