Executive Director - Consulting & Temporary Services at Mission Staffing

Our client, a leading private equity investment firm, is seeking a Fund Accountant with hands‑on Investran experience for a 3–6 month consulting assignment, with the potential for extension depending on workflow and year‑end demands. This individual will support day‑to‑day fund accounting, quarterly reporting, capital activity, and system‑driven processes within Investran. The ideal candidate has a minimum of 2 years of private equity or fund administration experience and can comfortably step into a fast‑paced, institutional environment with minimal oversight.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the daily, monthly, and quarterly accounting for private equity funds, including journal entries, general ledger maintenance, and NAV support
• Process and reconcile capital calls, distributions, management fees, and partner allocations
• Prepare and review investor statements, financial reporting packages, and supporting schedules
• Maintain, update, and run reports within Investran, including tracking investment activity, cash flows, and capital movements
• Support audit requests, year‑end processes, and internal/external reporting deadlines
• Partner with senior fund accountants, operations, and investor relations to ensure accuracy and timeliness of deliverables
• Assist with ad‑hoc analysis, reconciliations, and special projects as needed

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Private Equity Fund Accounting or Fund Administrator experience
• Must have hands‑on experience using Investran (posting entries, reporting, capital activity workflows)
• Strong understanding of private equity structures, capital activity, waterfalls, and allocations
• Highly detail‑oriented with strong Excel skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines
