Job summary

Glocap is seeking a Managing Director for Accounting and Operations, responsible for overseeing financial statements, accounting for alternative investments, and working closely with auditors. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's in Accounting, a CPA preferred, and must have significant related experience. Strong analytical skills are required to manage reporting and internal controls in a fast-paced environment.

• Private Equity or Family Office experience a plus.

Managing Director, Accounting and Operations at Glocap Search

Responsibilities

• Perform monthly financial statement close, including bank reconciliations, accruals, preparation of reporting packages with all relative support documentation
• Accounting and reporting for investments in alternative investment funds, including hedge fund and private equity/venture capital funds
• Maintain investor allocations, including for share-based entities, and preparation of partners’ capital account statements and reporting
• Cash activity monitoring, including entering and reviewing cash journals, daily cash rec, cash forecasting assistance, bank account management for multiple entities
• Work with the external auditor to provide support for the year-end financial statements
• Coordinate with our tax director and external tax preparer for tax return preparation
• Financial analysis, including review of tax accruals, investment NAV information and verification/recalculation of investment management & incentive fees
• Investors and related advisors reporting on a monthly basis
• Perform management fee and incentive fee calculations
• Implementation and documentation of processes to maintain strong internal controls while improving work flow
• Ad hoc reporting, special projects and information requests as required
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, CPA preferred
