Job summary

A leading hedge fund recruiting firm seeks a Fund Accountant to handle monthly and quarterly closings and collaborate with various departments. The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and strong analytical skills. This role offers a competitive salary of $100K to $140K plus bonus, based in Greenwich, CT.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of structured products, mortgages, or derivatives a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform monthly and quarterly closings with outside administrators.
• Handle reconciliations including NAV, PNL allocations, and fee calculations.
• Manage expense accrual budgets and perform financial analysis.
• Support GAAP financial statements and year-end audits.
• Collaborate across Operations, Valuation, Tax, Investor Relations, and Technology.

Role

Fund Accountant – Private Hedge Funds, Private Debt, and SMAs

Compensation: $100K – $140K base + bonus

In this role, you’ll be responsible for:

• Monthly and quarterly closings with outside administrators
• Reconciliations including NAV, PNL allocations, and fee calculations
• Expense accrual budgets and financial analysis
• Supporting GAAP financial statements and year-end audits
• Collaborating across Operations, Valuation, Tax, Investor Relations, and Technology

What we’re looking for

• Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance (CPA or track preferred)
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of structured products, mortgages, or derivatives a plus
