Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in public accounting, fund accounting, asset management, private equity, hedge funds, or related financial services environments.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the third-party administrator to ensure accurate fund accounting records and timely investor and financial reporting.
• Review monthly and quarterly NAV packages, financial statements, and supporting schedules.
• Assist with cash management activities, including wire transfers, capital calls, distributions, and credit facility transactions.
• Reconcile cash, investment activity, and capital accounts.
• Prepare and analyze weekly, monthly, and quarterly fund performance and investor reporting.
• Support annual audits and assist with the preparation of audited financial statements.
• Review K-1s and other tax-related reporting for accuracy and completeness.
• Assist with regulatory, compliance, and investor reporting requirements.
• Respond to ad hoc requests from investment, operations, and client service teams.
• Participate in special projects and process improvement initiatives.

We are seeking a motivated Accountant with 2+ years of experience in either public accounting or financial services. This role will be responsible for supporting the accounting, reporting, and operations of private investment funds while working closely with external service providers, auditors, and internal stakeholders.
