Job summary

BETA Systems International seeks a Strength & Conditioning Specialist to support Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst in New Jersey. The role is full-time and contingent upon contract award, with SECRET clearance requirements and on-site work at JBMDL.

Responsibilities include designing and delivering strength programs for rapid airbase operations, building mission-specific plans across AFSCs, conducting fitness assessments, and reporting results to the COR.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or related field.
• Current Strength & Conditioning certification (CSCS or equivalent).
• U.S. citizenship required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain SECRET security clearance.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong written and verbal communication; comfortable in field environments.

Employment Type: Full-Time, Contingent Upon Contract Award

Clearance: SECRET security clearance

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver strength and conditioning programs supporting rapid airbase opening, heavy load carriage, equipment movement, and high-tempo mobility tasks
• Build mission-specific performance programming across varied Air Force Specialty Codes (AFSCs)
• Conduct fitness assessments and maintain secure, compliant training records
• Provide monthly performance reporting metrics to the COR
• Coordinate with Athletic Trainers and Mindfulness Coaches as part of an integrated HP team

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or related field
• Current Strength & Conditioning certification (CSCS or equivalent)
• U.S. citizenship required
• Ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance prior to start; must maintain clearance for the duration of the contract
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable working in a field environment, including hours of darkness and inclement weather
• Ability to pass pre-employment and periodic drug screening (urinalysis)
