Job summary

Yulista is seeking a Functional Subject Matter Expert to drive EOIR Language Services Unit modernization by ensuring functional alignment with government processes and objectives.

You will liaise with government stakeholders, business users, analysts, solution architects, and technical teams to validate requirements, map processes, review designs, and guide testing, demonstrations, and change management throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Must be a US Citizen.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain DOJ Public Trust Investigation (PTI).
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and 4 years of relevant work experience.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the functional expert for EOIR business operations, workflows, and mission requirements.
• Analyze existing business processes and recommend improvements to support modernization objectives.
• Validate functional and business requirements to ensure alignment with government needs.
• Collaborate with government stakeholders to understand challenges and desired outcomes.
• Provide guidance during requirements validation, solution design, testing, and deployment activities.
• Ensure business rules and workflows are reflected in the proposed solution.
• Support process mapping, gap analysis, and functional impact assessments.
• Review designs, use cases, and system configurations for accuracy.
• Participate in solution demonstrations, design reviews, testing activities, and UAT.
• Identify functional risks and mitigation strategies throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support change management, user adoption, and training development.
