Our Our global manufacturing client is seeking a highly skilled Functional SAP IBP Consultant to join their team for a 3-month + contract. This role will be crucial in supporting our SAP IBP environment, particularly focusing on the TS Optimizer. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of supply chain planning processes and demonstrate the ability to independently resolve issues in a fast-paced, project-oriented setting. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a critical implementation and work with a dynamic team.

Responsibilities:

  • Review and interpret results of Time Series Optimization (TSO) planning runs to ensure accuracy and alignment with business objectives
  • Investigate data anomalies or inconsistencies that may impact network optimization and overall supply chain performance
  • Analyze and validate optimization outputs within the SAP IBP model, identifying areas for improvement or adjustment
  • Support the testing phase by troubleshooting and resolving data and configuration issues related to Time Series Optimization
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide functional expertise and ensure smooth integration of optimization results into planning workflowsProvide ongoing support for our SAP IBP deployment, with a specific focus on the TS Optimizer.
  • Independently analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to SAP IBP functionality, data, and integrations.
  • Apply a strong understanding of supply chain concepts, constraints, and cost-based optimization principles to problem-solving.
  • Quickly understand existing SAP IBP designs and solution landscapes.
  • Collaborate effectively with the project team and stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our SAP IBP solution.
  • Be available to support a critical production cutover during the weekend of May 30th.
  • Maintain full availability during standard working hours (Monday - Friday, 8 am - 5 pm ET) and be available on an exception basis for support outside of these hours (weekends and/or evenings).

Required Qualifications:

  • Proven experience supporting at least one full SAP IBP deployment that utilized the TS Optimizer.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve issues independently.
  • Clear understanding of core supply chain concepts, constraints, and cost-based optimization methodologies.
  • Proven capability to thrive in a fast-paced, project-oriented environment and quickly learn existing solution designs.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with integration touchpoints between SAP IBP and SAP S/4HANA or other upstream/downstream systems (e.g., master data, transactional data).
  • Proficiency in designing and customizing SAP IBP planning views.
  • Strong Excel and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret planning results, analyze trends, compare scenarios, and communicate findings effectively.
