Job summary

Codernation Technologies seeks an experienced QA / Functional Test Engineer with strong Utilities domain knowledge and hands-on experience in transformation/migration projects, notably Mainframe CIS to SAP IS-U migration.

The candidate should have 6+ years in software testing, expertise in end-to-end testing, data migration validation, and collaboration with SAP teams and stakeholders. Onsite in Miami, FL; QMetry experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in Software Testing / QA.
• Strong knowledge of the Utilities domain and end-to-end testing processes.
• Experience with transformation/migration projects, especially Mainframe CIS to SAP IS-U.
• Experience validating data migration, business rules, interfaces, and downstream systems.
• Familiar with test planning, test case design, execution, defect management, and reporting.
• Ability to collaborate with business and technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute functional test scenarios for Utilities applications.
• Validate end-to-end business processes during the Mainframe CIS to SAP IS-U transformation/migration.
• Perform data validation and reconciliation between legacy and SAP systems.
• Test customer, billing, meter, payment, and related Utilities processes.
• Identify, document, track, and retest defects.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, SAP teams, and business stakeholders.
• Support SIT, UAT, regression, integration, and migration testing.
• Ensure testing activities align with project quality standards and timelines.
