Job Title: Functional Oracle WMS / Logistics Consultant (German Speaking)

Location: Remote with travel to Düsseldorf, Germany (every 3rd week)
Contract Length: 3–6 months minimum, likely to extend
Languages: Fluent German required

Overview:

We’re looking for a Functional Oracle WMS / Logistics Consultant to join a long-term warehouse and logistics transformation programme.

You’ll act as the senior functional consultant working closely with the business to define and implement warehouse and logistics processes. This is a client-facing role, requiring strong process knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently on-site when needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the functional lead for Oracle WMS and logistics process design

• Engage directly with German-speaking business stakeholders

• Support the replacement of SAP EWM with Oracle WMS

• Lead workshops and meetings on-site in Düsseldorf (every 3rd week)

• Work closely with the business to refine warehouse and process management workflows

• Answer questions, guide decision-making, and own the process blueprint

• Ensure alignment between system capabilities and operational needs

• Provide expertise during the implementation and transition phase

Requirements:

• Strong functional experience with Oracle WMS (R12 or Oracle Cloud)

• Deep knowledge of warehouse and logistics process design

• Comfortable working independently and attending client meetings solo

• Fluent in German (spoken and written)

• Willing to travel to Düsseldorf every 4 weeks

• Strong stakeholder management and documentation skills
