Job summary

Synergy Face + Body in Raleigh seeks a physician to provide functional medicine care focused on medical weight loss, hormone replacement therapy, and peptide therapies. You will educate patients on treatment plans, work with a Medical Director, and ensure high-quality outcomes in a multidisciplinary setting.

The role includes supervising staff, maintaining patient confidentiality, and contributing to utilization, research, and quality initiatives within an expanding practice.

Responsibilities

• Assess and treat clinical patients from a functional medicine perspective.
• Educate patients on medications and treatment plans for medical weight loss, hormone replacement therapy, and peptide therapies.
• Consult with Medical Director and other staff on patient care, assessment, and education issues.
• Oversee mid-level medical staff and assign appropriate aspects of care to non-physician staff.
• Assist in resolving complaints, requests, and inquiries from patients.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information according to federal guidelines and regulations.
• Complete all charts and dictation on the day of visit with completeness and accuracy.
• Take responsibility for comprehensive and accurate coding of each patient encounter.
• Participate in utilization, research, and quality activities within the practice and ambulatory care network.
• Provide comprehensive medical services for patients on a continuing basis.
• Analyze test results and patient diagnoses; administer or prescribe treatments and medications.
• Advise patients on diet, hygiene, and prevention of disease; refer to specialists when needed.
