Job summary

Pennington Partners & Co. in Houston is seeking a Health & Wellness Specialist (Functional Medicine Nutritionist) to design programs and provide one-on-one nutrition guidance for entrepreneurial families.

The role blends clinical nutrition expertise with wellness coaching and educational content, backed by a marketing team. The ideal candidate will translate complex nutrition science into newsletters, webinars, and presentations, while supporting events and client growth.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in nutrition with CNS certification.
• Eligible to become licensed in Maryland and other states.
• 2+ years of experience in health and wellness in client-facing roles.
• Proficiency interpreting nutrition-related lab data.
• Able to translate health information into written and verbal formats.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one nutrition and health coaching for entrepreneurial families and your team.
• Determine appropriate level of support from MNT to coaching or referrals.
• Support Director with follow-up notes, research, and lab analyses.
• Maintain timely session notes in Practice Better.
• Lead and share health & wellness content via newsletters and webinars.
• Participate in events and business development to grow client base.
