This nonexempt role supports students with disabilities, classroom operations, and daily routines, 187 duty days per year.

Required: 18+ and Texas Educational Aide certificate or eligible; pay grade 03; starting Aug 4, 2026; deadline Oct 28, 2026. Salary starts at $17.60 per hour.

Qualifications

• Education: High school/GED and pass a paraprofessional assessment, or 48 college hours, or an associate degree or higher.
• Certification: Texas Educational Aide certificate or eligible for certification upon hire.
• Experience: Must be 18+ and have experience working with children.
• Knowledge & Skills: Ability to work with children with disabilities; follow instructions; maintain confidentiality; strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide instructional and classroom support to teachers and students.
• Assist with routine classroom operations and materials, and support substitute teachers.
• Assist students with physical and personal care needs as required.
• Supervise students and support positive behavior and safe school environment.
• Follow district policies, participate in PD, and perform assigned duties.
