Job summary

Qualifications

• MD or DO with completion of Gastroenterology fellowship.
• Board Certified in Gastroenterology.
• Demonstrated interest or advanced training in functional bowel or motility disorders.
• 10 years of clinical experience or more preferred for this role.
• Eligible for medical licensure in the state of Illinois.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage patients with complex functional GI and motility disorders.
• Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans incorporating dietary, pharmacologic, and behavioral therapies.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.
• Participate in program development, including clinical pathways and patient education initiatives.
• Contribute to quality improvement and clinical innovation efforts.
• Contribute to program growth, quality improvement, and clinical innovation initiatives.
• Involvement in research, clinical trials, and teaching.
