FFT Center of Excellence Manager

Position Summary

The FFT Center of Excellence Manager is responsible for overseeing the implementation and quality assurance of Functional Family Therapy (FFT) across California. Reporting to the FFT LLC Director of Implementation, this role provides strategic leadership, technical assistance, and stakeholder engagement to ensure high-fidelity delivery of FFT services through provider networks and local systems.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Ensure effective project planning, execution, and reporting, while fostering strong, collaborative relationships with key stakeholders, including FFT, its partners, and other entities.
  2. Promote the implementation of FFT across counties and maintain ongoing support for project operations.
  3. Develop and maintain strong relationships with providers, referral sources, and key stakeholders in each county.
  4. Ensure that all deliverables are met in a timely, accurate, and high-quality manner.
  5. Monitor referral flow and develop strategies and plans for addressing obstacles, barriers, and waitlists.
  6. Oversee COE administrator tasks to ensure accuracy and timely completion. Provide general model education to stakeholders and referral sources as needed.
  7. Review utilization of teams monthly to identify gaps in referral numbers and develop plans to address referral capacity needs.
  8. Work with HPFFT providers to support model fidelity and comply with funding requirements.
  9. Provide ongoing implementation support meetings for providers to ensure consistency in implementation practice and standards across all teams.
  10. Develop regular data reports at multiple levels, including statewide, county, and team levels.
  11. Provide regular project and budget updates to FFT leadership.
  12. Report training and clinical needs to the appropriate directors as situations arise.
  13. Serve as a communication bridge between FFT and other entities.
  14. Contribute to special projects as needed.

Work Experience and Skills Requirements

  • Demonstrated leadership and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to source referral/program participants and work effectively with providers, referral sources, juvenile justice, and policy staff.
  • Openness to feedback and data-driven accountability.
  • Experience in obtaining stakeholder buy-in and facilitating collaboration.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills; program management experience is a plus.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ implementation experience in direct service or administrative roles with at-risk adolescents and families.
  • Ability to analyze reports and data for monitoring and reporting.
  • Knowledge of California's behavioral health landscape, including Medi-Cal and BHPs.
  • Experience with evidence-based behavioral health programs, preferably FFT.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Canva, Teams/Zoom, Power BI.
  • Ability to work independently remotely and engage with a broad network of partners.
  • Excellent writing abilities (AI use is prohibited).
  • Ability to travel as needed.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree with at least 5 years of relevant experience; Master’s degree preferred.

Salary: $70,000 - 110,000

Location: Remote, must reside in the Western US (PST) or AZ.
