Job summary

Evidence Based Associates is seeking a Functional Family Therapist in New York to provide weekly family therapy sessions (home-based, virtual, or in-office) within the FFT-A framework. You will carry a caseload and integrate assessments, while collaborating with the therapy team and supervising staff.

The role requires a Master’s in social work or a related field with at least two years of children and family services experience. Bilingual Spanish is preferred.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work or related field with two years of children and family services experience.
• Ability to work in families' homes and flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Bilingual Spanish preferred and strong cross-cultural skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry a caseload as assigned.
• Provide weekly one-hour, home-based, virtual, or office family therapy sessions to clients, at a minimum.
• Actively participate as part of the therapy team.
• Complete FFT-A assessments.
• Refer families to appropriate services and supports regularly.
• Provide families with clinical and concrete services.
• Maintain records and complete required documentation.
• Attend FFT-A trainings and complete continuing education.
• Supervise assigned Case Managers and support the Program Supervisor.
• Provide life skills classes.
• Collect information for program effectiveness and report to administrative staff.
• Perform other duties as requested by supervisor or Clinical Director.
