Job summary

Strategic Therapy Associates in Virginia is seeking a Resident in Counseling, a Supervisee in Social Work, or a Licensed Mental Health Professional to become a certified Functional Family Therapist (FFT). You will provide home-based mental health counseling to youths aged 10–18 and their families, using the FFT model.

We cover FFT certification costs (over $1,700 value) and offer free supervision for licensure to qualified Residents.

Qualifications

• Must be registered (or eligible) as LMHP-R or LMHP-S in Virginia.
• Experience with children and families preferred; QMHP-C considered with 5+ years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of 10-15 families for 8–26 weeks depending on family needs.
• Provide at least 1 hour per week of home-based family therapy for each client.
• Complete all documentation accurately.
• Travel within a one-hour drive as needed.

We're Looking For:

• Registered (or eligible) as a Resident in Counseling (LMHP-R) or Supervisee in Social Work (LMHP-S) in Virginia.
• QMHP-C with 5+ years experience with children and families also considered.
• Valid driver's license, auto insurance, personal vehicle, and good driving record.
• Willingness to transport clients as needed.
