As a Functional Consultant working within Microsoft D365 operations at Columbus, you will be part of a dedicated team of consultants who will play a critical role in supporting our clients to drive customer success in the US and internationally. In this role you will provide customer satisfaction by delivering high quality consultancy to US and international customers including solution support and solution optimization consultancy services for Microsoft D365 product and associated services. These services will be delivered remote to our clients.
Note: This is a remote opportunity and can be based from any location in the United States. #LI-Remote.
As a Functional Consultant, you will:
- Resolve customer issues that have been logged through our ITIL ticketing system, within Support Service Level Agreements, by telephone, email, remotely or in person.
- Perform root cause analysis and incident management to minimize future issues.
- Provide consultancy services including but not limited to User Acceptance Testing (UAT); Go Live services; data change; code change; additional products/modules/functionality configuration and set-up; specification and testing, upgrades; migration.
- Analyze and deliver estimates to Service and Change Request and provide input to CAB meetings in relation to releases.
- Provide informal/formal training to customers with both standard system, additional modules/functionality and special customizations, where necessary.
- Effectively liaise with customers and third parties to ensure prompt resolution to issues.
- Carry out assigned tasks to a high quality and comprehensive standard, achieving high customer satisfaction in accordance with the entered contractual agreements and the scope of the project, escalating cases as required and with a focus on quality.
- Understand and apply Columbus’ formalized methods and procedures for Support, and where applicable project implementation, contributing actively to the on-going development and implementation of these to improve the customers’ experience and to further business objectives.
- Update the relevant helpdesk and internal software systems accurately ensuring that all support issues are up to date to enable effective conclusion by any member of the team.
- Work within the parameters set out in Customer Contracts, Service Level Agreements and Customer Operations Procedures.
- Must have general level of education or equivalent industry experience
- Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics D365 ERP stack
- Commercial knowledge and awareness of business economics
- Previous consultancy experience in a Microsoft Dynamics re-seller environment is a plus
- End-user Experience in a Microsoft Dynamics customer environment is a plus
- Training design and delivery experience
- Ability to provide excellent levels of customer service in all aspects of role
- Ability to build strong customer relationships, empathize in order to gain Customer satisfaction and trust
- Analytical mind set to diagnose problems, find solutions and possible work arounds
- Ability to remain calm and composed, maintaining an understanding and diplomatic approach, even when dealing with stressed or unhappy customers
- Ability to work effectively under pressure
- Ability to travel is 10% or less
Preferred Skills or familiarity in any of the following a plus:
- Certification in Microsoft Dynamics D365 modules or equivalent
- Knowledge of other ERP, BI or CE products
- Knowledge of ITIL
