Lead Functional Consultant, SCM & Manufacturing:

The Lead Functional Consultant for SCM & Manufacturing is responsible for managing the entire project lifecycle, from conception to implementation, with a focus on Supply Chain Management (SCM) and Manufacturing solutions. This role demands a deep understanding of Microsoft Dynamics AX/ F&SCM, strong leadership skills, and effective coordination of functional teams and project scope.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct Gap Fit Analysis to identify where existing solutions meet or fall short of business needs.
- Participate in project scoping and contribute to strategic planning of system solutions aligned with client goals.
- Engage with decision-makers, system owners, and end users to define and document business, financial, and operational requirements.
- Ensure solutions meet the overall functional design and project objectives.
- Lead the functional team, providing guidance to ensure quality and timely delivery.
- Collaborate with the onsite Project Team and Project Manager to meet timelines and resolve issues.
- Develop data migration strategies for AX/F&SCM SCM & Advanced WMS, and Manufacturing WMS using Microsoft tools.
- Create and review comprehensive requirements documents with clients and teams.
- Assist in designing functional and technical solutions that meet project needs.
- Participate in presales activities and develop proposals to support business growth.
- Mentor junior functional team members to enhance their skills and contributions.
- Contribute to practice competency development through active participation and knowledge sharing.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing, Business Administration, IT, or related field from an accredited institution.
- Equivalent experience in functional consulting with Microsoft Dynamics AX/F&SCM may be considered (1 year of experience equals 1 year of education).
- Certifications in Dynamics AX/F&SCM are highly preferred.
Experience:
- At least 8 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX, preferably versions 2012 R1, R2, R3, or AX7/Dynamics365.
- Managed a minimum of five full lifecycle Dynamics AX implementations.
- Experience with Manufacturing and Distribution modules within Dynamics AX/F&SCM.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Sure Step methodology, LCS, and CRP.
- Proven track record in a Dynamics AX/F&SCM consulting role.
