Job summary

Intone Networks Inc. is seeking a senior SAP Transportation Management (TM) Functional Consultant for a 12+ month contract.

The remote role will support US-based operations and upgrades to S/4HANA, working across EWM/MM/SD interfaces and master data governance. You will lead impact assessments, design test scenarios, and coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure seamless system changes, training, and operational continuity.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of hands-on SAP TM experience and S/4HANA upgrades.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA 2025, Private Cloud or On-Premise environments.
• Strong proficiency in SAP TM, including embedded and decentralized TM.
• Working knowledge of SAP EWM and MM/SD.
• Proficiency with SAP EDI, IDocs, ESR, and CIF.
• Familiarity with SAP Solution Manager, Readiness Check, and Focused Build.
• Background in managing master data and configuration rather than programming.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and root cause resolution capabilities.
• Expertise mapping O2C and P2P processes to TM modules.
• Strong understanding of freight planning, charge management, tendering, and settlement.
• Ability to serve as a cross-functional liaison between technical integration, business process management, and change management.
• Ability to explain system changes, train users, and foster operational continuity.
• Experience coordinating dual maintenance and environment management during upgrades.
• Reviewing SAP Simplification Items and designing impact assessments.

• Design and execute impact assessments based on SAP Simplification Items
• Lead the design and execution of integration test scenarios, user acceptance testing, and end-to-end defect management
• Manage master data and configuration activities in SAP TM environments
• Coordinate dual maintenance and environment management activities during S/4HANA upgrades
• Map Order-to-Cash (O2C) and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes to TM modules
• Support freight planning, charge management, tendering, and settlement functionality
• Serve as a cross-functional liaison between technical integration, business process management, and change management teams
• Explain system changes, conduct user training, and foster operational continuity
• Perform system validation and troubleshooting with an execution-driven, detail-oriented approach
• Conduct root cause analysis and resolve technical and functional issues

Qualifications

• Required
  • Minimum five years of hands‑on expertise in SAP TM (Transportation Management) and S/4HANA upgrades, ideally within international, mid- to large-scale environments
  • Hands‑on knowledge of SAP S/4HANA 2025, Private Cloud, or On-Premise environments
  • Strong proficiency in SAP TM, including embedded and decentralized TM
