Job summary

IMCS Group in Minnesota is seeking an experienced SAP Transportation Management (TM) Consultant to support a TCA system upgrade and SAP S/4HANA 2025 upgrade. The role focuses on assessing upgrade impacts, validating TM processes, executing testing activities, and ensuring uninterrupted logistics operations during the transition.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in SAP TM, hands-on testing, and strong stakeholder management.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of SAP TM experience.
• Knowledge of Embedded or Decentralized SAP TM.
• Experience with SAP EWM, MM, SD, EDI, IDocs, ESR, CIF.
• Hands-on experience in integration testing, UAT, defect management, and impact assessments.
• Understanding of O2C and P2P business processes.
• Familiarity with SAP Solution Manager, Readiness Check, and Focused Build is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze SAP S/4HANA upgrade impacts on TM processes using SAP Release Notes and Simplification Items.
• Perform end-to-end business process validation, integration testing, UAT support, and functional configuration.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve defects through root cause analysis.
• Partner with Development, BPMA, Integration, Testing, and Change Management teams to implement upgrade changes.
• Ensure uninterrupted logistics operations including freight planning, carrier selection, shipment execution, and settlement.
• Support retrofits, deployments, and dual-maintenance activities during upgrade and steady-state periods.

Ideal Candidate: Strong functional SAP TM professional with excellent testing, troubleshooting, stakeholder management, and business process validation skills. SAP TM certification is a plus.
