Description

DSI is searching for a Functional Architect who will be the technical expert for an application. The Functional Architect must be able to configure the application to meet business needs and bring an understanding of the enterprise, business systems, and industry to supporting teams. The primary responsibilities include providing expertise in business processes, preparing and reviewing designs, recommending improvements, and guiding testing processes. The architect helps establish a clear understanding of functional requirements and either creates or reviews functional designs. They must understand all aspects of their specific applications and underlying business processes. More experienced architects plan, analyze, and define high-level strategies and solutions, and assist with technical requirements and long-term planning.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, determine, and document functional requirements.
• Define how applications will support business needs.
• Conduct impact analyses of business requirements.
• Collaborate with infrastructure and development teams on technical requirements.
• Gather and interpret user requirements into design specs.
• Lead application design and development to meet business needs.
• Design, develop, code, test, and debug OnBase applications.
• Contribute to test planning and complete assigned tasks.
• Provide accurate status updates and follow quality standards.
• Work effectively in a team environment with strong communication skills.
• Act as the application's functional expert, providing detailed support for business processes.
• Define architecture and infrastructure strategies for applications.
• Plan and develop user interface strategies.
• Understand user requirements and design specifications.
• Review work plans, identify issues, and resolve team-specific problems.
• Estimate time and schedule work effectively.

Requirements

• 4-year college degree or equivalent technical study.
• OnBase Certification preferred.
• Experience with OnBase system implementations and data migrations.
• Knowledge of OnBase configuration, administration, and WorkView application functionality.
• Experience configuring OnBase workflows and familiarity with Unity Client.
