Job summary

Nakupuna Consulting is seeking a Functional Analyst III to join the IPPS-A AMP project team in Arlington, VA. You will configure PeopleSoft modules, translate user stories into functional designs, and collaborate in an agile environment to deliver reliable solutions.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's degree with 3+ years federal government or DoD experience, certification in IAT Level II, SAFe for Teams, and proficiency in MS Office. A Secret clearance and US citizenship are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and/or 3+ years of experience within federal government, DoD, Army, or IC and/or private sector preferred.
• Certifications in IAT Level II, Peoplesoft HCM, and SAFe for Teams preferred.
• Must be proficient in MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Configure modules in PeopleSoft software to meet design specifications.
• Provide estimates for work assignments.
• Document software configurations in prescribed documentation tool(s).
• Translate user and enabler stories and acceptance criteria into functional software design.
• Conduct unit testing in line with defined quality engineering processes.
• Conduct software development activities in support of application enhancements and system defects.
• Conduct peer reviews on other teammates' configuration and code to ensure accuracy and alignment to overall architecture and design.
• Explain software functionality to development team members and end users.

Functional Analyst III

Overview

Nakupuna Consulting is seeking a Functional Analyst III to join the software development team supporting the execution of a large size, multi-year contract to the Integrated Personnel and Pay System - Army (IPPS-A) Army Military Payroll (AMP). The Functional Analyst III will be an agile development team member, responsible for configuring PeopleSoft application modules to meet development team objectives. The Functional Analyst III should be comfortable working in an agile team environment, collaborating with team members to remove blockers and resolve problems, and sharing information within and across teams.

Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree and/or 3 or more years of experience within the federal government, DoD, Army, or IC and/or private sector preferred. PeopleSoft, Workday, or other ERP experience a plus.

Clearance Requirements: This position requires a current Secret clearance. Must be a U.S. Citizen.

Work Location: Work location will be in Arlington, Virginia 2 days on-site with a hybrid option. Occasional travel may be required.

The projected compensation range for this position is $106,000.00 to $140,000.00 (annualized USD). The salary range displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Nakupuna Companies total compensation package for employees.
