Job summary

Job description

As a Senior FSA Advisor at the 513 EWS you will maintain a fully operational and reliable computer systems, to include fixing network issues, managing sufficient workflow capability; as well as, updating equipment, configuration and software. (06v1)

Essential Job Functions

• Performs engineering work concerned with the design, evaluation, planning, testing and operation of mechanical equipment and systems for commercial, government, military and/or scientific uses
• Monitors and tunes systems to achieve optimum performance levels
• Ensures workstation/server data integrity by implementing standard software and hardware solutions
• Ensure data/media recoverability by following a schedule of system backups and database archive operations
• Conducts hardware and software audits of workstations and servers to ensure compliance with established standards, policies, and configuration guidelines
• Ensures that performance and security of computers meet the needs of network users
• May serve as a lead on directed projects and initiatives

Required Skills

• Active DoD Secret Level Security Clearance with the ability to obtain a Top Secret
• U.S. Citizenship is required (due to sensitivity of customer requirements)
• Bachelors (or equivalent experience) with 12 + years experience in IT support as System Administrator
• Security Plus or equivalent certification
• Windows Server 2016 or higher training/experience
• Windows Active Directory Services
• Working knowledge of the virtualization of servers and workstations
• Experience with patch management
• Experience with Data Storage management
• Ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner, and work in a fast-paced, team environment.

Desired Skills
