Job Description

Position Overview: The Pest Group is seeking experienced and reliable Fume Crew Leads and Technicians to join our team in our San Diego Branch. As a member of our Fumigation Crew, you will be responsible for performing pest fumigation services at client locations. You will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and satisfaction of our clients by effectively eliminating pests and ensuring their properties remain pest-free.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of client premises to identify pest infestations and determine appropriate fumigation methods.
• Safely and effectively apply fumigants in accordance with industry standards and company protocols.
• Utilize specialized equipment and tools to administer fumigation treatments.
• Communicate with clients to explain the fumigation process, address their concerns, and provide recommendations for pest prevention.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and ensuring their satisfaction with the fumigation services.
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to protect yourself, colleagues, clients, and the environment.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to pest control and fumigation practices.
• Maintain accurate records of fumigation services provided, including details of treatments administered and chemicals used.
• Prepare and submit comprehensive service reports to clients and the company.
• Collaborate effectively with other team members, including pest control technicians and customer service representatives, to deliver seamless services to clients.
• Participate in regular team meetings and training sessions to enhance skills and stay updated on industry trends.
• Pest Control License: Possession of a valid pest control license and fumigation certification.
  
  

Experience

• Fumigation Branch 1 licensee with CDL and Hazmat endorsement is highly desirable.
• Previous experience in pest fumigation services is a bonus.
• Strong understanding of pest behavior, fumigation techniques, and chemical application methods.
• Ability to perform tasks that may require lifting, climbing, and prolonged standing.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact professionally with clients and team members.
• Keen attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
