Job summary

Thriveworks in New York is seeking Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners to deliver psychiatric assessments and care via telemedicine for adults and adolescents. The role emphasizes a patient-centered approach with collaboration on care plans and documentation.

Qualified candidates hold PMHNP board certification, a Master’s in Nursing with prescriptive authority, and at least 3,600 supervised clinical hours. NY license required; AdvancedMD experience a plus.

Qualifications

• Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with board certification.
• Must have completed 3,600 clinical hours under supervision.
• Master's in Nursing with active prescriptive authority in the state.
• Understanding of AdvancedMD EMR is a plus.
• Three years of experience is a plus; 1 year of psychiatry required.
• PMHNP must be licensed and live in the practicing state.

Responsibilities

• Make psychiatric assessments and evaluations via telemedicine.
• Prescribe medications as needed to reduce symptoms.
• Create and collaborate on care plans with clients.
• Complete paperwork and assessment tools for clients.
• Adhere to Thriveworks Clinical Practice Guidelines.
• Consult with Regional Directors and staff on programs and services.
