Job Description:
The English Department at Jefferson Community College is seeking part-time adjunct faculty to teach College Composition (ENG 100) and Literature and Composition (ENG 102) online in fall 2025.
Requirements:
Master's degree in an English-related field (English, Composition and Rhetoric, Literary Studies, etc.) preferred, however candidates with a bachelor's degree and relevant teaching/tutoring experience will be considered.
Applicants must interact and communicate effectively with diverse populations, foster inclusion, and promote equal access and treatment for groups traditionally under-represented in higher education.
Additional Information:
Level A - $665/credit hour
Level B - $785/credit hour after teaching 6 semesters at Jefferson.
