Open Mind Health is seeking fully licensed California therapists (LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, PsyD/PhD) for 100% remote telehealth. You will support California clients with anxiety, depression, mood disorders, and stress, using CBT/ACT/DBT and mindfulness-based approaches.

This is a 1099 independent contractor role with a flexible schedule and a minimum of 20 hours per week. Applicants may reside outside California, but active CA licensure is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide virtual psychotherapy to California clients with anxiety, depression and mood concerns.
• Assess client needs and create individualized treatment plans.

Licensed Therapist (LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, Psychologist) – Anxiety, Depression & Mood Disorders – Remote California __

100% Remote- Must Hold an Active California License | $70–$80/Hour | 1099 Independent Contractor | Flexible Schedule | 20+ Hours/Week __

Open Mind Health (OMH) is expanding and actively recruiting fully licensed California therapists (LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, or licensed Psychologist [PsyD/PhD]) with experience supporting clients experiencing anxiety, depression, mood concerns, stress, burnout, emotional regulation challenges, and major life transitions.

This is a 100% remote telehealth opportunity offering $70–$80/hour, flexible scheduling, and a minimum commitment of 20 hours of recurring weekly availability.

Applicants may reside outside California. Active, unrestricted California clinical licensure is required , as this position serves clients located in California. We are not currently accepting associate-level applicants for this role.

What You'll Do

• Provide virtual psychotherapy to California clients experiencing anxiety, depression, mood concerns, chronic stress, burnout, and life transitions
• Assess client needs and develop individualized treatment plans based on presenting concerns and treatment goals
• Utilize evidence-guided therapeutic approaches such as CBT, ACT, DBT-informed interventions, mindfulness-based strategies, and other appropriate modalities
• Help clients develop coping skills, emotional regulation strategies, resilience, and tools for managing anxiety and depressive symptoms
• Deliver culturally responsive, client-centered care tailored to each client's experiences, background, and goals
• Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation
• Collaborate with the broader care team as appropriate
• Practice within applicable professional, licensing, ethical, and regulatory requirements

Required Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted California license as an LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, or licensed Psychologist (PsyD/PhD)
• Strong clinical assessment and psychotherapy skills
• Experience supporting clients with anxiety, depression, mood concerns, stress, and/or related mental health needs
• Commitment to evidence-based and evidence-guided care
• Comfortable using technology and telehealth platforms
• Passion for providing culturally responsive, client-centered care
• Ability to maintain a minimum of 20 hours of recurring weekly availability

**** Preferred Qualifications

• Experience treating anxiety disorders and depressive disorders
• Experience with CBT, ACT, DBT, mindfulness-based interventions, or other evidence-based therapeutic approaches
• Experience supporting clients with stress, burnout, emotional regulation, and major life transitions
• Telehealth experience
• Licensure in multiple states
• Membership in Social Work, Counseling, MFT, or PSYPACT compacts, where applicable
• Additional language proficiency (Spanish is highly desirable)
• Experience working with diverse or underserved populations

Compensation & Engagement Type
