Responsibilities include:

1. Define end-to-end performance test strategy for OmniPod data cloud architecture, including shift-left and unit performance testing.
2. Design and implement performance testing strategies for data cloud platforms using Locust or Blazemeter to assess system scalability, reliability, and responsiveness.
3. Develop, maintain, and optimize performance test scripts to simulate various load scenarios, ensuring comprehensive performance coverage of data pipelines and services.
4. Analyze system performance metrics, identify bottlenecks, and provide actionable insights for optimizing data processing and cloud resource utilization.
5. Collaborate with data engineering teams to define performance requirements, establish benchmarks, and set SLAs for data platform components.
6. Integrate performance tests into CI/CD pipelines for automated, continuous performance monitoring.
7. Conduct load, stress, and endurance testing to validate the stability and scalability of cloud-based data environments.
8. Provide detailed performance reports, highlighting key findings, recommendations, and optimization strategies.
9. Stay updated on performance testing best practices and cloud technologies, applying new techniques to enhance testing frameworks.
