OCA, a fast-paced and established NJ based company with 40+ years of experience as a third-party benefits administrator needs Full-Time Quickbooks Accounts Assistant to assist to join our team.

What You'll Do (Your Impact):

  • Reconcile accounts: Ensure all payments are accounted for and properly posted.

  • Resolve issues: Investigate discrepancies and solve billing problems.

  • Prepare documents: Generate bills, invoices, bank deposits, and perform reconciliations.

  • Manage accounts: Verify, classify, compute, post, and record accounts receivable data.

  • Generate reports: Create financial statements detailing accounts receivable status.

  • Process payments: Accurately handle incoming payments and ensure they're correctly recorded.

  • Maintain compliance: Adhere to state and federal regulations, including HIPAA.

  • And more! Contribute to the team by performing other duties as assigned.

Requirements

What You'll Bring (Your Skills & Qualifications):

  • Education:

  • High School Diploma/GED (Required)

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting (Preferred)

  • Experience:

  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in accounts receivable, bookkeeping, or a related field.

  • Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in QuickBooks (Required)

  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel & Word)

  • Familiarity with Zoho (Preferred)

  • Essential Qualities:

  • Exceptional attention to detail

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
