Job summary

ARB Interactive, Inc. is seeking a Fullstack Software Engineer to architect, build, and maintain modern, scalable systems across the stack. You’ll work on frontend in React/Next.js/TypeScript and backend in Node.js with MySQL, deployed to AWS.

You’ll lead cross-team initiatives like game lobbies, authentication, promotions, and payments, ensuring performance, accessibility, and responsive design. A strong communicator and team player with gaming/paid features experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• 2+ years frontend engineering with React, TS and Next.js.
• 5+ years backend development with Node.js, TS and MySQL.
• Cloud experience (AWS) and familiarity with serverless architecture.
• Strong understanding of state management, design systems, and component architecture.
• Familiarity with A/B testing, web analytics, and responsive design.
• Proactive communicator with a team-focused mindset.
• Experience with high-traffic gaming platforms is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.

Overview

As a Fullstack Software Engineer, you'll architect, build, and maintain modern, scalable systems across the stack. This is a hands-on role focused on both the frontend (React/Next.js/TypeScript) and backend (Node.js, MySQL, AWS) to deliver features that empower our users and drive business growth.

What You'll Do

Requirements

• 2+ years of professional frontend engineering experience with React, TypeScript, and Next.js
• 5+ years of backend development experience with Node.js, TypeScript, and MySQL
• Experience in cloud environments (preferably AWS) and familiarity with serverless architecture
• Strong understanding of state management, design systems, and component architecture
• Familiarity with A/B testing, web analytics, and responsive design
• Strong communicator with a proactive, team-oriented approach
• Experience building or supporting high-traffic applications or gaming platforms is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience with Terraform and infrastructure-as-code
• Exposure to online gaming or payment processing systems
• Exposure to streaming or messaging technologies (e.g. event-driven systems)
