Base pay range
$100,000.00/yr - $180,000.00/yr

Description:
We are seeking an experienced Fullstack Data Scientist with a strong background in Python, AWS, and React to support our client’s high-frequency energy trading analytics initiatives. You will be instrumental in building interactive dashboards (Dash Plotly, Power BI, and Streamlit) and backend systems that provide real-time insights to traders and business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain high-performance dashboards using Dash Plotly, Streamlit, and Power BI to visualize high-frequency energy trading data.
- Build scalable backend services and APIs in Python to process and analyze large time-series datasets.
- Design and implement user-friendly frontend components using React to support data exploration and decision-making.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate analytical needs into actionable tools and dashboards.
- Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) and statistical modeling to uncover trends and anomalies.
- Integrate AWS services (e.g., S3, Lambda, ECS, Athena) to optimize data storage, processing, and deployment pipelines.
- Implement and manage real-time or near-real-time data pipelines using modern frameworks.
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security throughout the analytics lifecycle.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for dashboards, models, pipelines, and services to ensure reproducibility and ease of handover.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in data science, analytics engineering, or fullstack development for data solutions.
- Proven expertise in Dash Plotly and Streamlit for building dynamic and interactive dashboards.
- Strong proficiency in Power BI for building advanced visual reporting tools.
- Excellent programming skills in Python, with hands-on experience using libraries such strong as Pandas, NumPy, and Plotly.
- Experience working with high-frequency time-series data and managing real-time data processing.
- Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services (such as EC2, Lambda, S3, and RDS).
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced trading environment.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to present complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
