Job summary

Lumenci is seeking an experienced AI product engineer in the United States to drive production-grade GenAI applications from conception to deployment.

The role requires hands-on work across backend (Python/FastAPI) and frontend (React/TypeScript), integration of LLM providers, and building end-to-end AI solutions including document workflows and data layers. Join a team delivering enterprise-grade AI products.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of relevant software/AI product development experience.
• Hands-on experience building production-grade AI/GenAI applications, not just POCs.
• Strong programming experience in Python.
• Backend development using FastAPI or similar frameworks.
• Frontend applications using React + TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience with LLMs, GenAI and AI agents/workflows.
• Experience with RAG, embeddings, vector databases, chunking and retrieval.
• Experience with LangChain, LangGraph or similar AI orchestration frameworks.
• Experience integrating LLM providers/APIs such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Azure OpenAI, Google, Ollama or similar.
• Experience building end-to-end applications: frontend, backend, APIs, data layer and deployment.
• Experience with document-based AI workflows (PDF, DOCX, Excel, text ingestion).
• Strong understanding of APIs, asynchronous workflows and production debugging.
• Working knowledge of Git/GitHub, Docker, testing and CI/CD.
