Job summary

Fullstack Engineer

Location: Des Moines, Iowa (On-site)

Role Overview

We are seeking a Software Engineer to join our team. This role will partner with product team members and other engineers to support the Market Solutions Large Group product team. The focus is on improving the experience of doing business with our organization by concentrating on data extracts, ongoing renewals, and new group onboarding. As a Software Engineer, you will play a key part in ensuring the sales technology platform meets business needs and adheres to technology standards.

Key Responsibilities

Contribute to infrastructure development, testing, and automation.Manage environments strategy and platform reliability and scalability.Oversee CI/CD pipeline management and release management.Handle security and compliance management.Conduct system monitoring and incident response.Participate in platform evolution and innovation.

Required Qualifications

Experience: 4 - 6 years in a Web Engineer role.

Technical Skills: Proficiency with HTML, CSS, Angular, Node.js, and Web APIs.

Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience designing and implementing secure, scalable APIs and data pipelines using Node.js, Python, and AWS services (SQS, SNS, Lambdas, S3).Demonstrated experience with SQL.Previous experience with microservices and ETL workflows leveraging AWS CDK and CI/CD tools.A blend of ETL, Data Warehouse, Database, and Data Integration skills.Experience designing, developing, and maintaining automated test suites including unit, integration, API, and end-to-end (E2E) testing.Experience working within an Agile team environment.Proficiency in version control systems such as Git.
