Role Summary

A full-stack engineer specializing in code-level performance and runtime visibility across React/Node/Java. You define error/latency budgets and golden signals, instrument with OpenTelemetry, and build k6/JMeter CI gates. • Create k6/JMeter load/regression suites; add CI perf gates.
  • Profile CPU/memory/IO; fix hotspots via caching, pooling, batching, query tuning, algorithms.
  • Implement timeouts/retries/circuit breakers; maintain perf runbooks; test failure modes safely.
  • Reduce alert noise (thresholds, grouping, dedupe) with runbook links; improve MTTR/MTTD.
  • Lead perf deep dives; manage perf-debt backlog & remediation sprints.
  • Partner with Product on TTI/TBT/Web Vitals; report measurable wins.
  • Full-stack support: ship features, review PRs with perf focus, mentor on instrumentation.
