Job summary

Oregon Child Development Coalition (OCDC) is seeking a Custodian for Nyssa, OR. The role maintains facilities, cleans classrooms, and performs light maintenance to ensure a safe, sanitary environment for children and staff.

You will handle trash, recycling, and basic repairs while participating in safety drills and training. Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED and at least one year of industrial cleaning/maintenance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with one year experience in industrial cleaning, maintenance and repair or equivalent.
• Combination of technical coursework or 24 months of maintenance/janitorial responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain county buildings and grounds with janitorial and maintenance tasks.
• Clean classrooms, furniture, windows, floors, and surfaces; stock supplies.
• Remove trash, perform light repairs, and maintain lighting and HVAC filters.
• Participate in safety drills and emergency procedures; support event setups.
