Central Grade School in Traverse City, MI seeks a Full-Year Guest Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year. You will fill daily teaching assignments and assist with coverage across classrooms, collaborating with administrators when needed for student or staff support.

The role requires 60 college credits and completion of WillSub onboarding. Competitive hourly pay applies, with duties including special education aide tasks as needed.

Formación

• Education: Minimum of 60 completed semester credit hours from an accredited college or university (required to obtain a Michigan Department of Education Substitute Permit).
• Permitting & Third-Party Hiring: Willingness to register and complete employment onboarding through willSub (ESS) Midwest upon selection.
• Skills: Strong communication, classroom management skills, patience, and a high degree of flexibility.

Responsabilidades

• Daily Classroom Instruction: Report to Central Grade School every instructional day to fulfill prearranged assignments managed through the WillSub system.
• Building Support: Partner with building leadership on days without assigned coverage to provide support across classrooms, small groups, special education programs, or other support needs in the building.
• Adaptability & Flexibility: Serve primarily at Central Grade School, with readiness to assist at neighboring TCAPS school buildings if an urgent need arises.
• Classroom Management: Maintain a safe, structured, and engaging learning environment following established district plans and curriculum standards.
