Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• Ability to meet the district's attendance requirements
• Experience working with school aged students
• Ability and willingness to successfully complete a variety of school-based assignments
• Ability and willingness to learn and enforce school and district expectations for student and staff behavior
• Excellent communication skills
• Commitment to adhering to a work environment that values and supports all students and families

Responsibilities

• Commit to remaining in the position for the complete school year
• Commit to reporting to work on time and for complete work days
• Commit to learning the rules and procedures of the district and the school; and, following and enforcing them
• Work at the direction of the building principal and accept a variety of assignments
• Interact with students, colleagues, and families in a professional and respectful manner
• Supervise students. Enforce the school's rules including safety rules
• Prepare for assignments by reviewing curriculum and lesson plans
• Be communicative with supervisors and colleagues about work-related issues
• Be able to work successfully in a fast-paced environment
