Soccer Shots Boston is seeking a full-time Children's Soccer Coach to inspire young players in the Boston community. This energetic role combines a love for soccer with the rewards of mentoring youth athletes in a fun, supportive environment.

Responsibilities include planning age-appropriate sessions, teaching fundamentals, and maintaining a safe, inclusive setting while communicating progress to parents and guardians. CPR/First Aid and reliable transportation are required.

Qualifications

• Experience coaching or working with young children.
• Strong knowledge of soccer fundamentals and youth development principles.
• Excellent communication, patience, and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and highly energetic with a passion for youth sports.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to travel between program locations.
• Must pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate soccer coaching sessions for young children.
• Create a safe, positive, and inclusive environment for all participants.
• Teach fundamental soccer skills including dribbling, passing, and teamwork.
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding player progress.
• Set up and break down equipment before and after each session.
• Manage group behavior and ensure the safety of all children during practices.
• Participate in staff training, meetings, and program development initiatives.
