Job summary

Hammond Lumber Company in Damariscotta, Maine is seeking Full-Time Yard Attendants. You will operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to pick, load, unload and store materials in our yard, while providing excellent customer service and handling heavy lifting.

This position supports both full-time and weekend coverage with strong safety practices. Yard staff enjoy comprehensive benefits and the opportunity to contribute to Maine’s trusted supplier of building materials.

Qualifications

• Forklift experience a plus, but not a requirement
• Experience handling building materials is a plus
• Preferred candidate will have a clean and valid driver’s license
