Position: Radiologic Technologist

Reports to: Office Manager

Summary

Immediate Care Walk-In is seeking full-time X-Ray Technologists to serve a busy Urgent Care center in Brick, NJ, which caters to a heavy orthopedic patient population.

Job Duties and Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for x-rays following established procedures for patient care and safety.
  • Process digital radiological images.
  • Exercise professional judgment and provide patient care essential to radiology procedures.
  • Obtain quality diagnostic radiographs as requested by providers, including orthopedic images.
  • Assist other staff members (Medical Assistants, Front Desk Associates, Providers) as needed.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned by the Office Manager or Practice Administrator.
Requirements
  • Diagnostic Radiography license with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Ability to maintain effective and organized systems to ensure timely patient flow.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology.
  • Exceptional customer service and phone etiquette.
  • Availability to work evenings and weekends.

Preferred Qualifications: Up-to-date QC book maintenance.
