Mavis Tires & Brakes at Discount Prices is hiring for an Automotive Alignment Technician in the Asheville, NC area. The role involves aligning tires and wheels using advanced equipment, measuring caster, camber, toe and thrust angles to minimize tire wear and ensure vehicles drive straight and true.

The position includes completing state inspections, oil and filter changes, and flat repairs, along with other required automotive services.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Possess 1 year of experience and/or training in dismounting, mounting, rotating and balancing tires or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• Preferred state inspection license.
• Active position requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, climbing, pulling, reaching and performing repetitive movements; ability to lift and move items weighing over 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Use the latest equipment to align tires and wheels on customer vehicles, measuring and adjusting caster, camber, toe and thrust angles to reduce tire wear and ensure straight travel.
• Complete state-mandated inspections, oil and filter changes, flat repairs, and other required automotive service or repairs.
