Job summary

DICK’S Sporting Goods in Goodyear, AZ is hiring Warehouse positions to join our distribution center team. Open roles include Material Handler and Processor, with FT or PT opportunities and shift differentials.

You will handle unloading/loading, operate equipment, complete documentation, and verify orders while supporting safe, efficient processing in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must obtain equipment operator certification on the job.
• Willing to be trained to operate RF scanning equipment.

• Basic reading and numerical reasoning skills.

Responsibilities

• Unloading, loading, staging and warehousing of cartons with safe procedures.
• Operate manual and mechanical equipment as required.
• Complete documentation accurately and report errors to supervisor.
• Verify PO, location numbers, case pack quantities before receiving/picking/loading.
• Determine pallet placements based on box size and product.

Overview

DICK’S Sporting Goods is seeking Warehouse employees to join our distribution center team in Goodyear, AZ. We are hiring XXXX (FT or PT) opportunities!

Shifts

• 1B: Wednesday - Saturday (5:30am to 4:00pm) + $0.50 shift differential
• 2nd: Monday - Thursday (4:00pm to 2:30am) + $1.00 shift differential

Positions Available

• Material Handler: $20.25/hr
• Processor: $19.00/hr

Job Duties And Responsibilities

• Performs unloading, loading, staging & warehousing of cartons, practicing safe & secure procedures & following proper material handling methods for maximum productivity
• Safely operates manual and mechanical equipment according to procedures
• Completes all documentation neatly and accurately and reports any errors found to Department Supervisor
• Verifies purchase order, location numbers, case pack quantities and other information prior to receiving, picking or loading merchandise
• Must determine where pallets are to be placed in locations based on box size and product.
• Practices safe and secure material handling methods and distributes merchandise properly in accordance with processing standards
• Performs spot checks of system to ensure merchandise is sorted properly

Qualifications

• Must achieve equipment operator certification on the job and operate as necessary for the position
• Must be willing to be trained and operate radio frequency (RF) scanning equipment as necessary for the position
• Must pass a background check and drug screen
• Ability to bend, stoop, reach, stand, push, pull & lift cartons/bins weighing approximately 10-50 pounds repetitively
• Ability to keep pace with production standards
• Basic reading comprehension and numerical reasoning skills
• Manual dexterity
• Candidates must be at least 18 years of age
• Basic English reading comprehension & numerical reasoning skills.
