Job summary

FedEx is seeking a Part Time Handler to move packages, documents, and supplies promptly and safely using proper scan/load methods. This is a non-driving position operating on site at the specified location. The role includes performing other duties as assigned.

Physical requirements include lifting up to 50 lbs, walking/standing during shift, and possible climbing stairs or ladders. Partial benefits and shift details are provided in the posting.

Qualifications

• Able to lift 50 lbs from ground to chest level.
• Ability to maneuver packages above 50 lbs using equipment or assistance.
• Walk and stand for designated work hours.
• Bend and squat for designated work hours.
• Climb stairs and ladders if required at location.
• Communicate effectively in a noisy operations environment.

Responsibilities

• Provides movement of packages, documents, dangerous goods and/or supply support in a timely, safe and efficient manner through effective scan/load methods.
• This is a non-driving position (public roadways).
• Performs other duties as assigned.
