Job Schedule: Full-Time

We are seeking a Waitstaff to join our community committed to delivering outstanding service to our residents. As a Waitstaff, you will play an important role in all phases of delivering service that meets or exceeds Buckner quality, service, and hospitality standards. What you'll do
  • Must be upbeat, courteous, and positive.
  • Possesses great guest relation and communications skills.
  • Deliver hospitality, enhance every guest experience.
  • Be able to navigate through the menu, describe featured menu items. Demonstrate extensive menu knowledge.
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders. Be able to send orders to kitchen accurately through the point of sales system. Partner with all associates to serve food and beverages in a timely manner.
  • Cash handling, including, but not limited to counting and balancing cash register. Ensure all payments are processed timely, accurately, and correctly. Maintain the confidentiality of guest information.
  • Must have the ability to multi-task and work well with others.
  • Must be able to adhere to our Buckner Service Standards.
What you'll bring
  • Requires proficient ability to speak, read and write English; ability to read, write and understand business documents which are written in English.
  • Requires ability to effectively communicate verbally with residents, families, visitors and co-workers. Requires ability to make self clearly understood by others.
  • Requires ability to understand and follow basic written and oral step-by-step instructions.
  • Requires ability to move food serving and preparation equipment as needed, using up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force continuously to move objects and/or people.
  • Work deals mostly with objects, equipment and/or machines where the seeing job is at or within arm's reach. Depth perception and field of vision (peripheral) are of some importance.
