Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Previous experience in a veterinary setting is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care to all patients.
• Greet patients and owners and guide them to an examining room, recording weight and vital signs.
• Triage patients, assist with exams, treatments, and medications as directed by licensed technicians.
• Calm and soothe anxious patients.
• Assist doctors and technicians with medication administration or patient restraint.
• Perform laboratory tests and take radiographs.
• Maintain and sanitize hospital equipment and facilities.
• Fill prescriptions and maintain accurate medical records.
• Promote hospital products and services and support the organization.
