The role emphasizes client engagement, schedule coordination, and multitasking, with a full-time 4/10 schedule, Monday–Friday and one Saturday a month, and compensation of $18–$20 per hour.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in a veterinary assistant, animal care, kennel assistant, or related role preferred.
• Safe animal handling and restraint skills for dogs and cats of varying sizes and temperaments.
• Knowledge of basic veterinary terminology and patient care principles.
• Ability to assist with exams, treatments, and outpatient procedures.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.
• Physical ability to stand, bend, lift, and restrain patients safely throughout the workday.
• Commitment to exceptional patient care and client service.

Responsibilities

• Supporting efficient exam room and outpatient workflow to ensure exceptional patient and client care.
• Maintaining accurate, thorough medical records and treatment documentation.
• Reviewing treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions with clients clearly and compassionately.
