The ideal candidate has a DVM or VMD, state license, and DEA registration, with 1+ year experience and excellent communication. Our hospital emphasizes teamwork, growth, and a culture of care in a welcoming community.

Qualifications

• DVM or VMD degree from an accredited college/university.
• Current State Veterinary License in good standing.
• DEA registration must be obtained and maintained.
• At least 1 year of veterinary practice experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient exams and medical work-ups.
• Communicate with clients and provide education.
• Perform diagnostic procedures and surgical care.
• Maintain accurate medical records for each patient.
• Prescribe medications following established protocols.
• Promote teamwork and staff efficiency.
• Collaborate with Hospital Manager on weekly priorities.
• Evaluate and monitor hospital protocols from intake to discharge.
• Attend daily rounds when possible to uphold high standards.
• Participate in practice management updates and training.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Management.
