Job summary

MIDDLE TENNESSEE VASCULAR ASSOCIATES, PLLC in Franklin, TN is seeking a full-time Vascular Ultrasound Technologist (RVT or RVS) to perform non-invasive vascular studies and support patient care.

You will prepare patients, operate ultrasound equipment, document findings in the EMR, and collaborate with vascular physicians and staff to review results and assist in diagnosis.

The role emphasizes safety, infection control, and adherence to regulatory standards in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Qualifications

• RVT or RVS certification required and ARDMS familiarity.
• Experience with vascular ultrasound imaging and comprehensive studies.
• Completion of an accredited diagnostic medical sonography/vascular tech program.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• Strong attention to detail and effective communication.

Responsibilities

• Perform non-invasive vascular ultrasound examinations including arterial and venous studies.
• Carotid duplex and other vascular imaging as ordered.
• Prepare and position patients, operate ultrasound equipment, and optimize image quality.
• Document findings accurately in the electronic medical record.
• Collaborate with vascular physicians and clinical staff in patient care planning.
• Maintain equipment and exam rooms; follow safety and infection control protocols.
• Adhere to applicable regulatory and accreditation standards.
