Harmony at Savannah is seeking a dependable, motivated Full-Time Van Driver / Maintenance Assistant to join our team, serving residents with safe transportation and building upkeep.

The role splits 50/50 between transporting residents to appointments and performing general maintenance tasks to keep the community attractive and well-maintained, with opportunities to grow within a supportive senior-living environment.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Previous maintenance experience.
• Ability to safely operate a passenger van.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks.
• Dependable, organized, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience in senior living, hospitality, or healthcare is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport residents to medical appointments, shopping trips, and outings.
• Assist residents with entering and exiting the vehicle as needed.
• Maintain transportation schedules and documentation.
• Perform routine inspections and ensure the community vehicle is clean, fueled, and in safe operating condition.
• Assist with general building maintenance and repairs.
• Complete work orders in a timely manner.
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks.
• Help maintain the grounds, common areas, and exterior appearance of the community.
• Assist with painting, light plumbing, electrical repairs, HVAC maintenance, and other general maintenance duties as assigned.
